Notes: OMG, I'm all vegan today and it's really messing up my guts. Seriously, way too much soy today. Is there any way of trying to avoid meat and dairy without consuming massive amounts of intestinal mucus-building soy? Help.
The first time I went to see a nutritionist she was like, YO. LAY OFF THE SOY. First- get off the soy milk! Get on almond, rice or hemp milk. Tofu is great, but it is actually a really processed food and should be eaten in moderation. There are lots of other Ok "fake meat" products made out of different ingredients. You just have to remember those are processed crappy foods. Just because they aren't meat doesn't mean they are good for you!
ReplyDeleteTempeh is also soy, but it is fermented and I have heard it is easier to digest... so maybe try that. Really though- fruits, veggies, whole grains.... you know the drill!
