Breakfast:
-whole wheat english muffin with fried egg white, spinach, tomato & avocado
Lunch:
-whole grain tortilla with hummus, spinach, red peppers & 2 slices turkey
-1/2 cup yogurt with blueberries & honey
Dinner:
-some canned Indian food (potato dumplings in spicy buttermilk)
-brown rice
Snacks:
-trail mix: 1/4 cup dried cherries & 1/4 cup mixed nuts
-1 banana
-4 bites of leftover soba noodles
-a couple of handfuls of popcorn
Drinks:
-1 cup black tea
-1 small glass OJ
-1 glass chocolate soy milk
Exercise: 25 minutes on row machine set to 5. 30 minutes resistance training
Notes: I HATE going to the YMCA at night. The douchebag quotient is through the roof, HOWEVER it was an insane day at work and after work was the only time I could go. Poop. In other news, my dinner was gross.
Robin: you amaze me with your consistent gym record, girl. You practically live there! Way to go!! It's not easy...glad to see you stick with it.
ReplyDeleteYou know, it has gotten to the point now that if I don't go I feel kind of blah, and I get worried that I'll never go again! When I have a long weekend at work and can't go (those weekend hours at the Y are tough for my schedule) I get really discouraged. I worry that if I had more of a "life" (by that I mean more work and social activities) that I might not make it at all!
ReplyDeleteI hope that doesn't happen. I will say, it has been hard at times- including today- but mostly I am at the point now where I feel pretty grounded in my habits.
They say it takes just 28 days of doing something to make it a habit. I think there was even a reality show with that Supersize Me dude based on that concept.
