I jumped out of bed and right onto it, which wasn't actually the best idea, being someone with asthma.... Duh. Anyways, you should see more ellipitcal-ing in my posts. If not, slap me when you see me ;)

I will definitely be back. Ended the evening with new obsession, snow ice from Cloud9 on Belmont. Fun fact: the snack size portion is under 150 calories. Not a bad indulgence. As for my chocolate obsession...I seriously think I have a g.d. problem at this point.

Exercise: 2 miles in 21:44 minutes...BAM!

Notes: Went to lunch with my boss which is where the pizza boo-boo came from. Traced out a 2 mile route for myself using Google Maps' distance tool (look in Labs if you want to use it) and now my goal is to see if I can beat my time each run. Funny thing is, I never would have dreamed I could run over 20 minutes without stopping but ever since proving I CAN at the 5k race I did, I've become more interested in distance than time. If I can get really good at 2 miles, then I'll bump it up to 3.1 (5k) regularly. Holy crap, who am I?

Exercise: a bit sore from yesterday's race so I gave myself a break.

Notes: I am feeling SO GOOD this weekend. The combination of accomplishing the 5K, great fall weather, and getting an extra hour of sleep thanks to Daylight Saving's ending has put me in a wonderfully productive mood. Dave and I both skipped dinner because we had such a late lunch and weren't hungry. It's funny--he was having trouble at first wrapping his head around not eating dinner but I was like, "why waste the time on cooking it, use up calories, and use up ingredients if we're not even that hungry?" He made a shake and I had my light healthy snack and we both lived to tell the tale of not adhering to daily rituals.
